Nieuwe generatie modulaire controller (R=Rack = 19'' insteekkaart)

De Cobra-controllers zijn innovatieve, modulaire units die zijn ontworpen om de oudere generatie H50-controllers te vervangen. Ze bieden een verscheidenheid aan nieuwe en verbeterde functies voor bestaande en nieuwe producten, evenals een hoger beveiligingsniveau door de introductie van HTTPS en SNMP v3.

De eenvoudige plug-and-play-functionaliteit maakt het mogelijk connectiviteitsfuncties in het veld te wijzigen zonder dat herprogrammering nodig is. Lokale, Ethernet-, 2G-, 3G- en 4G-connectiviteit wordt ondersteund.

De voorkant van het apparaat is nu voorzien van een LCD-scherm en navigatieknoppen waarmee de operator nuttige informatie kan opvragen zonder dat hij op afstand verbinding hoeft te maken via een computer. Deze informatie omvat details zoals netwerkconfiguratie, actieve alarmstatus, softwareversies, enzovoort.

De module kan opnieuw worden geconfigureerd zonder dat deze voor herprogrammering hoeft te worden opgestuurd. Software-upgrades kunnen ter plaatse worden uitgevoerd via verschillende mechanismen. De benodigde software kan lokaal naar de controller worden overgebracht met behulp van een SD-kaart.

Belangrijke opmerking voor geplande vervanging

In principe wordt de vervanging uitgevoerd als een 1:1 vervanging. Er is echter één uitzondering:
Bij vervanging van een controller in een FO-repeater (BSF) moet ook de controller in de corresponderende OMU MK II worden vervangen om een correcte werking mogelijk te maken.

Toelichting op compatibiliteit

Compatibiliteit - functionaliteit:

In principe dient de controller als vervanging voor eerdere H50-controllers voor OMU's en repeaters in 19''-behuizingen. Eerder gebruikte controllers met softwareversie 2.x en oudere versie 1.x kunnen worden vervangen door deze controller. Als je oude apparaten met softwareversie 1 vervangt, stuur ons dan de gegevens van het oude apparaat (modelnaam, serienummer, softwareversie) waarvoor je de nieuwe controller wilt gebruiken, zodat we de situatie bij de fabrikant kunnen controleren.

Compatibiliteit met PBE-bewakingssysteem AEM:

De controller is compatibel met de huidige PBE Active Element Manager versie 4.x.
De controller is niet compatibel met oude, niet meer gebruikte versies van de Active Element Manager (AEM), zoals versie 2.x of 3.x.
