This Motorola Solutions desktop charger is an IMPRES multi-charger (100–240 VAC) and can charge up to 6 handheld radios simultaneously.
This charger set consists of the 6-port charger PMPN4288, the power supply PS000242A01, and the 230V power cord EU 3087791G04.
Features and Benefits
When IMPRES or IMPRES 2 batteries are charged with an IMPRES charger, the batteries are regularly calibrated and reconditioned.
This helps to:
- Maximize battery life through significant heat reduction during trickle charge cycles or cycles following the charging process.
- Determination of the current battery status, so that the radio user is informed of the effective usage time.
- A higher charging rate for the IMPRES or IMPRES 2 lithium-ion battery.
- Calibration and reconditioning are performed as needed.
- Minimization of heat buildup in the IMPRES or IMPRES 2 battery, regardless of how long the battery remains in the charging cradle.
- Regularly charges the battery in the charging cradle so that it is always ready for use.
- Elimination of the memory effect in nickel batteries.
With this unique, patented system, you do not need to constantly check IMPRES 2 batteries or remove them from the charger to ensure maximum service life. The charger performs the monitoring.
