• This flange allows any antenna specifically designed for mounting on 1"-threaded water pipes to be installed on deck, on the wheelhouse roof, on the cabin roof, or on any other horizontal or nearly horizontal surface.
• In the marine sector, the 1"-water pipe mounting system for antennas has become the global standard. The antennas are equipped with a swivel nut that fits 1"-threaded water pipes. The following models from the Procom line of marine antennas are designed for this type of mounting:
• CXL 3-1, CXL 2-1/..., CXL 2-3, CXL-VHF/GSM, MARCELL, MARCELL 3+, CXL 70-1/..., CXL 70-3/..., CXL 900-1/..., CXL 900-3/..., CXL 1800-1/..., CXL 1800-3/..., CXL 1800-6/..., CXL 2400-1/..., CXL 2400-3/..., CXL 2400-6/..., CXL 900/1800/1900/UMTS, and GPS 4/....
• These antenna types can be installed immediately with the FLG.
• The FLG is made of triple-chrome-plated, solid brass. The included mounting hardware is made of stainless steel.
• The included conical spacer is used to compensate for sloped surfaces in order to position the antenna vertically. The spacer is made of UV-stabilized plastic and is capable of compensating for roof pitches of up to 7.5°.
• Please note that an antenna should always be mounted with as few obstacles as possible. Objects near the antenna, especially parallel metallic parts (other antennas, wires, etc.), can significantly degrade the antenna’s SWR and radiation pattern.
• The FLG deck-mount clamp is part of a complete family of Procom clamps for 1"-pipe-mount antennas. The entire family is shown below. The FLG or one of these accessories can be used to handle the vast majority of all installations.
