Thanks to improved audio quality with windporting, your voice is heard clearly as ambient noise is filtered out. Oversized controls allow you to transmit easily, even when wearing protective gear such as gloves. The rugged housing features an emergency call button and a volume control that are large enough for quick access but also protected to prevent accidental activation.

The ATEX RSM with ANC has two audio ports; the 3.5-mm jack allows you to connect a discreet in-ear receiver with a transparent and comfortable ear tube. The Nexus audio jack features an open ATEX/IECEx interface. This allows third-party headsets with compatible interfaces, such as the Draeger FPS-Com-Plus, to be used safely.
