Vertically polarized, omnidirectional base station and marine antenna.
Approx. 8 dBd gain.
Equipped with the sturdy "LW" mast mount—a lightweight, versatile, epoxy-coated mount made of corrosion-resistant aluminum.
The accompanying U-brackets and fittings are made of stainless steel.
For mounting on vertical or horizontal mast tubes with an
54 mm outer diameter.
The cable can be routed either along the outside or inside of the mast tube.
Wide range in terms of both SWR and gain.
Ideally suited for duplex operation with large separations between the TX and RX frequencies.
The antenna element is enclosed in a high-quality, tapered fiberglass tube.
All metal parts in the antenna are DC-grounded to reduce noise caused by atmospheric discharges. Therefore, the antenna is DC-short-circuited via the coaxial cable.
