Note:

Due to the discontinuation of the old PBE-H40/H50 controllers, this repeater is equipped with the new PBE-Cobra controller. This controller is not compatible with the older generation of controllers in the OMU.
If this repeater is to be operated on an existing older OMU, the OMU in question must also be equipped with a new Cobra controller. The existing repeaters can continue to be operated on the OMU.

Digital, channel-selective, fiber-optic-powered TETRA amplifier with fixed channel bandwidths of 60 kHz and 90 kHz. 
A later change to other bandwidths is not possible with this model. 
The factory settings are 60 kHz and 90 kHz. 
The device can also be equipped with a channel bandwidth of 30 kHz at the factory. Please contact us for more information. 

 

Key Features:

The D-CSF3604 is a channel-selective fiber-optic-fed amplifier for TETRA. It is part of a system powered by an optical master unit (OMU). The maximum permissible optical attenuation is 10 dB opt. This corresponds to a fiber length of 20 km between the OMU and the farthest fiber-optic-powered amplifier in the system. This offers great flexibility in providing radio coverage for areas that cannot be served via a radio link. The fiber-optic-connected system can be both monitored and controlled. This is done using a highly effective software application, the Axell Wireless Element Manager.

Automatic Optical Gain Control

Gain adjustment in the downlink is performed by measuring the power level of a pilot tone transmitted by the Optical Master Unit (OMU). This received power level is continuously monitored.
